All the staff were friendly and attentive and were always available to help and assist. They were thoughtful and considerate and the Food & Beverage Manager made our visit even more memorable by providing a special cake for our Ruby Wedding Anniversary. The Nile room views were stunning, looking directly over the Nile to the West bank and Valley of the Kings. All in all a very friendly hotel with and excellent location. We have visited Luxor several times staying at different hotels but this is the one we will definetly be returning to.
We had a Nile View Room and would always ensure this was the case when we return as the rooms overlooking the street and foyer tended to be rather noisy.
Good imformation and prompt service
The hotel is not reading the additional notes posted at booking time, they gave us a twin room when we have specified in the additional comments that we'll like a double bed.
The staff was very nice. Food was excellent. Hotel environment was relaxing.
Internet connection was not working at all. The two computer in the business were too slow and was full of errors. It was too much waste of time to work on them.
I expected this hotel would be a good value one since it's a chain company and the one in sharm el shiekh is quite expensive one. But i only found out that its quite old. For the first look, it's like a proper hotel. The bathroom is nice and clean. Our group have 3 rooms. One sink has been blocked, the other was leaking while the third one has the bath been blocked. Also our remote control for TV is not working even though we reported it to the reception. So if you would just like a comfortable bed for sleep, this is a good one. It's quiet and clean and the reception is friendly. But don't expect more than 38 dollars
The breakfast is good. The staff at front desk was attentive. This time of the year Luxor is boiling hot, so the tourist attractions is better to see them from early morning 6-7 am and finish around mid day (believe me is more than enough with the weather). Once you are finish you have half of the day to relax in the hotel pool or the terrace, it is a nice experience due that it is looking to the Nile. Taxi fare from airport 50 Egyptian pounds.
The rooms are completely outdated. The rest of the hotel is fine but really it wouldn't hurt to remodel the rooms. The service in the bar is super slow, once you are sited it takes a lot of time to be noticed and take your order (even though is a small space)
Staff is nice and is happy to give tourists information about the city.Value for money.
Room is not that clean as I expect.
View on the terras and the pool on the nile! Breakfast buffet excelent . Nice receptionstaf.
We booked superior rooms We thought they were in fact very standard!
Very competent service, good air-conditioning and the furnishing of the room. Wide choice of breakfast buffet with excellent timing - opening at 5:00 AM, which allows you for an early start of sight-seeing.
Although the room was clean in general, it seems that certain items are missed out: for example inside the shower the plastic soap-holder was dusty and another one whitish from the rests of soap and/or calc from the water. This, however, is a minor issue.
The hotel staff were very friendly and hospitable. The breakfast provided in the morning was excellent and good value for money. The waiters were always polite and willing to fulfil any requests. The best holiday I've had in a long time. I would recommend hotel and location to anyone who is visiting Luxor.
Great location, great staff, and super great breakfast (wide variety and good quality). Book a Nile View Room - worth the money. The floating pool on the Nile and the adjacent garden are simply amazing. I don't think there's a better hotel in town, considering position, value for money, comfort and amenities.
Its location was excellent, right on the river and close to town. The staff were pleasant and very helpful! It had lovely gardens and pool area. The bar area had pool table which was nice. Very clean.
The rooms/bathrooms are a little 'tired' but still comfortable.
A welcomed Oasis away from the touts in Luxor. The room was clean, the breakfast fairly varied and the views of the Nile were lovely. It was nice to chill out in the gardens, watching the feluccas journey up and down the Nile. Also, having had a tiring journey and arriving at 7 in the morning, we were allowed an early book in at no further charge.
The food was not great, but then Luxor is not renowned for its culinary arts....
Perfect location, excellente views over looking Nile and west bank.Within walking distance to down town Luxor/ferry.
loved the different towel sculptures left on the bed by the nice man in housekeeping. One young man on the front desk was instrumental in helping me get my camera bck after I had left it at a restaurant. He was patient and determined.
The breakfast buffet was good. The location of the hotel is great, 15 minute walk to the train station and about 5 minute walk to the Luxor Temple, it will be hard trying to avoid the people who offer a ride on a Felucca, a boat to the west bank or a carriage ride, but if you're not interested just say maybe later or maybe tomorrow (that worked for us most of the time). The pool in the hotel was really nice, it's on the river, you have to cross a small bridge to get to it, it was great (they close early). Overall this hotel is a nice place to stay.
There should be at least half an hour complementary internet, is not enough so you end up paying for an extra hour. I don't know why hotels have to charge so much for it.
